The Power of Women Gathering Presented by Marci Nemhauser Psy. D. PCC and Michelle Rios MA, PCC Learn about women's natural ability and style as leaders, whether in business or in the home. We will discuss and explore your EQ (emotional intelligence/effectiveness) using highly interactive activities. This will be an engaging time where everyone will leave with a new view of themselves as the leaders they are and a renewed energy to implement their discoveries. Introduction to Yoga Sisters Athletic Club A return of last year's popular class. This 45 minute class will be geared for the beginner. Guidelines for Writing Your First Book Presented by author Edna O. If you have a story to tell, and are having trouble getting started, this fun and entertaining workshop is for you. It will help you navigate through the difficulty of getting started. Learn about the pitfalls of selecting an editor, publisher or illustrator. The class will also cover the advantages and disadvantages of self-publishing. It will provide information on obtaining an ISBN number, bar code permits, and copyright certification. Reprogramming your Negative Beliefs Presented by author Edna O. From birth to pre-teen most of us have a positive belief system; however as we have injuries, broken relationships and crises we begin to reprogram our beliefs. A WALK IN THE WOODS Guided by Betty Shuler Join a walk on the Sisters Community Trails behind the Five Pine Center. Walk among the native Ponderosa Pines and visit Whychus Creek. Watch for and learn about local birds. Enjoy the sights, sounds and scents of central Oregon's beautiful native vegetation and wildlife. Difficulty = Easy. Distance, about 2 miles.
